Aliki Lake
Lake Aliki is a salty lagoon, which is located in North-East Lemnos, east of the settlement of Agios Alexandros (Saint Alexandros) on the borders of the municipal district of Kontopouli.
In the area one can see hundreds of species of birds that use it as a stop, when they migrate further south, while in Aliki you can notice a significant population of Flamingos in the spring.
Together with the neighboring brackish lakes Chortarolimni and Asprolimni, they are one of the most important wetlands on the island.
